Dear CSI,
if you’re looking for 1 hotel room of ~70000 in NYC, that doesn’t give you a 1 in 70000 chance of finding it.
It gives you a 1 in 70,000 chance of guessing 1st time. Even if you weren’t going to use your trademark investigative methods, I assume you wouldn’t check 1 at random, realise it wasn’t the right one, shrug, and give up.
